The big, original, but not unrecuring event. An experience in UK constitutes usually a good base package to start alternate nationals events (see following Drachenfest, [[Anachrone?]], Avatar, Adunanza). The Gathering is slowly losing influence due to a closed-thinking and harsh management which made much of the good collaborators go away, to create alternate events like Renewal. Strangers are never cared for very well and any proposal to create synergies has been rejected or ignored. The English players always show an extreme fairplay. Faction Life and Organisation in this event are left only partially to the player’s care: the leaders and the important decisions are made by the [[Lorien_Trust?]]. During the event, you will see a lot of structures but most of them are out time (fastfoods –expensive and not really tasty- plastic glasses and tables). The Last Battle of the Gathering is always the biggest thing a LARP player should participate in. After a lot of years from its birth, the Lorien Trust eventually built a home page , however poor of contents.
